Opinions on 270 WSM?

If I built any short magnum today it would be a 7WSM. That caliber is an under-appreciated cartridge. I'd use a 27" barrel with it but my safe is now full so if I ever do build one it will be a gift for one of my kids or one of my hunting friends who hook me up out west.
