Outlaw, I forgot to tell you I was a mind reader. LOL

I thought about what you were saying and was just looking at the 6.5wssm in my safe.
I built it to shoot clay birds at 565yds and to learn more about longrange shooting as well as reloading.I figured it would be accurate, economical and have low recoil to enable me to practice a bit more than with the big guns.
It was a great success and I've shot a 1.08" 3 shot group with it at 565yds as well as numerous that were close to it. Once I figured out the wind it was almost impossible to miss those 4" birds as well. Of course I found ways to miss.
I haven't shot it in a couple of years , maybe I will finally have to part with it to make room for some more rifles that I really don't need.
