I can't find it with a search. I'm looking for testimonials or opinions regarding performance on deer with the the (.284) 168 or 180gr Berger. Will be launched from a 7 WSM type cartridge (maybe?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif).

I don't know about the 168 or 180 but the 6.5mm 140 worked well for me on a doe in Wyoming last year. Massive tissue disruption. I think they may be better suited for longer ranges because of their fragile jacket, but I haven't shot big game close with them yet to tell for sure. My doe was at 1030 yards.
