This is terrible, I loved that place! Does anybody know where to shoot (long guns) in the Lubbock area now that Rustic is no more? There is plenty of space, why is there no place to shoot!

There is or used to be a gun club in Snyder. I think it's called the canyon gun club. You'll probably have to buy a membership to shoot. I have a friend that lives in Snyder, & it seem like he told me it goes to 200yds. Not LR by any stretch, but it's still further than Rustic. Snyder isn't nearly as handy as Slaton, but I don't know of any other places if you don't have private land to shoot on. Hope this helps
