Looking for experiences with the Norma powder line. Specifically MRP2.

A number of years ago I dumped a couple of pounds out of factory Weatherby ammo. So I am thinking about running it.

some where i read the head balistician at norma could find nothing that worked like mrp-2 in the 6.5-284. he had access to a lot of canister and non-canister powders.

Well they don't make it anymore. Yesterday I was able to get my load verified out to 1000 with it and kept everything under 1 moa. Not as fast as I wanted but I think the Lilja barrel just doesn't like to go that fast. Happy with my results so I will load all of it that I have and worry about it again in a couple years.
