SOLD/EXPIRED nikon monarch gold scopes

I'm think about puting a 2.5x10x50 30 mm tube on a 280 rem for deer hunting what retical german #4 or nikoplex any suggestion? thanks onebigsandman

I have both reticles on various of scopes and I will without a doubt always choose the German #4 if given a preference. My eye naturally migrates directly to the center of the scope and the top portion of the reticle doesn't block anything.
Nothing wrong with the Nikoplex, but I prefer the #4.

I just leant one of my scopes with the #4 reticle to my brother who was not familiar with it and now I can't get it back from him. Probably cost me $1000 to educate my brother.
