Nikon Eye Relief

Hi. I'm setting up an elk rifle for my wife. It is a Rem. mod 700 in .270 I'm using Leupold QR bases w/ med rings. The scope is Nikon 3.3-10x44. I can't seem to get the scope to move far enough back to get proper eye relief comfortably. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Are there different mounts that would work better? Thanks.

It sounds like an extension QR medium 1" rings will work for you. Leupold product code #49976.
