Yes, I know...why would anyone want to use anything but a Nightforce scope? Unfortunately, I'm just not in the market yet for the scope. However, I have another scope that is 30mm and need to get new rings. The eventual goal is to have a Nightforce scope so I'd just as soon get the Direct Mount, which I can swing right now, rather than have to buy and replace some 30mm dovetails (which Nightforce sez are a bad match for their scopes).
