I am just getting started in long range shooting. I am having a break put on a 338 win. Mag and looking for a scope. I am retiring in 27 days so will have some time to practice.

Is this too much for an entry level shooter to start with?

I have a Moose hunt lined up for next year and could use this gun instead of my 300 Weatherby, 3-9 Leopold Boone and Crockett reticules.
