It was one of those moments where I had to stop and think "Oh, wait, I have to get a picture of this" while I was standing and staring with awe.
The purple in the clouds isn't as defined and bright as it actually was.

I was only using my Kodak Z730 digital camera. It is 5 MP.
I'm looking to upgrade to a digital SLR as I keep missing out on pictures that my camera can't quite handle. I can't complain about my Kodak though, as it has been used to take some nice pics and has taken some hunting abuse along the way, like falling out of a tree stand.
