Iam going to build a 338 edge, found a stevens brand new in 7mm mag would that make a good donor gun. What twist in barrel are you guys shooting. What stock? Can you make them repeaters or single shot only? Thanks in advance. Iam going to try to call Shawn for I will be close to his town this week. Thanks Coreygun)

What twist barrel - 1in 9.5 or 1 in 10 twist seem to be the norm.

What stock - mine has a McMillan stock, the Tooley MBR. Alot of guys prefer McMillan's A-5 style stock. Quite a few have laminated stocks that they got from Joel Russo, most I've seen pics of were of the A-5 configuration. Also noticed alot of the HS precision stocks.

They can be either repeaters or single shots, mine is a single shot.
