Hello from West Texas. First post for me. Been reading the forum for a month or so and have decided to get serious.
I just put a Cooper Varmint 54 in 260 Remington on layaway. It will be a LR deer rifle. We hunt from blinds mainly and don't really have to lug our rifles far. The weight is only 8# on the Cooper. I'm new to the 260, my caliber for years has been a 280.
Been going nuts looking for a scope. Too many choices. Have a Leupold VX3 now but would like to upgrade to Swaro or Zeiss next year.
Anyways, Merry Christmas to yall. Hope I can contribute a little.
