Hi TBuckus and welcome to LRH.
If you aren't reloading, that is something that will help in the target shooting area. It allows you to shoot more due to lower ammo cost, and often times produces more accurate ammo.
The next thing I would recommend is a AR500 steel target or gong. You get immediate feed back from the shot without having to walk or drive down to check a target. Plus, it's just tons of fun ringing steel.
