NEW WSSM & WSM,s

A friend has ask me to build him a pair of rifels
in 257WSSM & 8mm WSM and I would like to get as much
information on these new winchester,s short mag,s
as I can before starting.

Any comments GOOD OR BAD would help [reloading,performance,
recoil, etc

Well , I think that he has picked a good pair to use , the 8mmWSM should be s great round , haven't heard much about anybody shooting one yet though.
The problem I have with the WSSM's is that I don't think that they offer enough over the already available rounds to have a benifit , UNLESS , your using one of the super short action that was desgined for them then you may save some weight.
I personaly try to look at things from a practical point of view , Personaly if I were going after a hot rod 25cal I do a 25-06 or 257 roberts in the improved version , either one has a pretty good selection of factory ammo and can be easly found , and with the improved versions you can have the increased velocity of the Ai and still be able to shoot factory ammo in a pinch

In my view the 25wssm covers everything in that cal. The old 25cals can be phased out.
