Hello everyone kinda new to long range shooting/hunting kinda I enjoy my Remington model 700 22-250 bull barrel extremely well there isn't really a lot of open fields where I hunt in eastern ky but would squeeze one off at a yote 300yrds away with it. I recently bought a weatherby vanguard in 300 weatherby mag, from a friend who needed the money haven't shot it yet but thought it might be the rifle that I was looking for to do long range shooting and possibly to take out west to hunt elk with any suggestions what to do with it would be great. Also go figure just seen a custom built 264 win mag for sale that just about made me kick my self in the *** for not buying it anyone have any input on this caliber?? Thanks
