Where is a good place to order a new Leupold soope? I am in the process of starting to gather equipment to shoot "long range." In the past, 400 yards has been "super long range" to me. I am amxious to try 600 to 700 yds.

Premier Reticles. Their prices are competitive, and you can get whichever type of standard or custom reticle you want. And the option of M1 turrets on the 30mm tubed LR scopes.

Here's a pic of my 6.5-20x50LR with M1 turrets and USMC Mildot reticle

I guess this is a dumb question, but what is a mil dot & how does it work. I have always estimated drop with a scope. Is a mil dot a size compariter?
