I don't know for sure if it helped or not as it was a very rough barrel and after 150 rounds plus the Tubbs' bullets it finally was cleaning up with less than 10 patches instead of 20+. I'm would like to think that it did help somewhat though. If you are shooting a factory rifle I would not worry about trying to get a good load nailed down until you had 100+ rounds that tube.IMO</p></blockquote><p></p>
