Hey everyone, Zephyrhills, Florida checking in...
not only am I new to the site but I am relatively new to guns. This past Christmas I received my very first gun (41 yrs old). It was a gift from my brother; a used and slightly abused lever action 30/30. He knew someone selling it and knew I was looking for a deer hunting rifle to take on my very first hunting trip.
I was trying to see if cleaning up the rusty rife myself would be an option when I saw some overly generous individual offering gun smithing services in a contest. How could anyone resist an opportunity like this.
