Thanks for building this site and all the great information it contains. I have never been a long range hunter and seldom have the need in Alaska but have an interest in it and would like to learn more.

welcome! just because you don't often have the need to hunt long range doesn't mean that it's not a good skill to have! and besides you could always sneak away and make the shot longer

Thanks for the welcome and I do hope to start extending my shooting distances eventually and yes the skills learned in long range shooting will apply to any shooting.

You guys do need to make a trip up to Alaska at some point, just don't stay too long as you might never want to leave!
