Finally got all the parts and pieces together for my new hunting rifle.

Savage LRH in 300WM
Nightforce 3.5-15x50 NP-R2
Warne 30mm rings
Talley 20 moa base

The only problem left is that the front of the stock is touching the barrel. I can not slide a dollar bill in between barrel and stock.

So, is this something that can be fixed with the application of sand paper on an aluminum rod? This rifle does not have the accu-wedge, although it is the accu-stock.

Anyone else experience this? I am heading to the range tomorrow for some sighters and load development.
