I’ve got 5-6 of the old trailmax rifle scabbards. They are absolutely bulletproof. My favorite scabbard. This new Scabbard isn’t the same toughness and durability as the old ones. I bought this new scabbard this year for my deer hunt. First couple days the bottom ripped out by the zipper making it basically junk. Contacted trailmax about warranting it and they refused saying it was abused and I drug while on horseback. Maybe I did..... I don’t recall getting it in a bad spot. The old ones I’ve drug thru downfall, rocks, trees, snow, mud, every nasty thing you see when hunting in the wilderness. Always protected my guns and taking the beating and just smiled and kept on going, never been able to tear the old ones up. This new model does not stack up to the old one model. It’s nice so you can travel with your bipod on and your longer barelled rifles. But it’s not tough like it’s older brother. Mine is junk and won’t be used again. Went back to the old ones. Great idea not so great product. Extremely disappointed with product and trailmax not standing behind their product.
