I am old guy from Washington State, been a hunter all of my life primarily elk. I killed my first elk in 1961 and was with my dad when he killed his in 1958. Have hunted in most of the western states. I handload for my rifles and have several from the .223 thry 45-90. All are in sporting configuration no semiauto's or tactial configuration. Love to shoot and love to hunt. Hope to learn from you all here and maybe help some with hunting ideas particulary elk.
