I am looking into a new gun and would appreciate some opinions. I would like to do a 338 cal. but whant to get a barrel built for a cutom action. Also what twist rate seems to be the most verstile?
I think any barrel from any of the major barrel makers are a good choice....Lilja, Kreiger, Broughton, Shilen are good choices. I've also had good experiences with pac-nor. A 10 twist seems to work with everything from 225 gr. accubonds to 300 gr. sierras
