I've been doing load development with the new 140 VLDs and though I haven't done extensive shooting with them thus far, they are definitely showing promise. With alittle more range time I should have a killer combo for these new pills. Thus far my two best loads have been from a Sendero SFII 7RM, 1) 63.5s Grns IMR4350, WW Brass, Fed 215 GMM and 2)69 Grns H4831, WW Brass, Fed 215 GMM. Both loads have given low SD thus far. Avg MV with the IMR4350 loads has been 3233 fps with the H4831 loads coming in at 3221 fps. Here are two groups I fired back to back at 200 yards yesterday: This rifle hasn't shown promise with any of the 140s I've tried thus far, so I was sort of surprised that the 140 VLDs are shooting fairly well. It really shines with 162 Amaxes, but with alittle tinkering, these new 140s may give them a run. It seems that Berger has come up with another good bullet. I hope to give an on game review on my Mid Sept WY antelope hunt. Ya'll have a Good One, Reloader
