New AR

[Endurance]

I am buying a new .223 AR (on the low end of costs)

I am looking at basically 2 models the gun will be used for Yotes and Bobcats in VA at our farm and a Backup to my .243 for P-dogs out west once a year.

I am stuck between a Sporter type barrel and a Bull Barrel. Both are the same costs I am weighing my options with the slightly elevated round count of P-Dogs. The weight difference is 2.5 Pounds.


Any input would be great.

If you aren't planning on toting it as a duty-type rifle, go with the stainless heavy bull barrel. It will be better for varmint hunting, IMO.

Yup I'm a bone head I'm leaning on the Bull as I cant hunt dear in VA with it so I won't be stalking
