New 6.5x284 wooden wonder

    Here is my newest rifle.

    Its based on a fully customized and trued Remington 700 LA chambered in 6.5x284 minimum neck throated for the Sierra 142s. The glass is Swaorvski. The stock work, including hand-checkering, was done by Brent Umberger. I was custom fit and hand-picked the wood at his shop in Ohio. The builder is Jered Joplin of Patriot Arms, Inc. in Georgia.

    That has got to be one of the nicest stocks I've ever seen! Absolutely beautiful.

    Thanks for the kind words. I can honestly say that the stock is better looking in person then in the pictures; it positively glows. The smith guarantees that it is a hammer, so I'll post some pics of the target once I get a chance to take it out.
