It is as bright as the leupolds or the 4200's and I can crank it up down left or right and it comes back to zero and holds zero. The adjustments are also what they advertise. A 1/4 inch is a 1/4 inch. My elite 3200 10x is still going as well and that thing has been put thru the ringer and dialed all over the place as well. The Nikons weren't bad and were repeatable. The leupy quit tracking on me as did the 4200 elite. That being said Leupold customer service is pretty good. Bushnell customer service absolutely sucks. Thats just my experience for a budget like yours. I am a sightron fan.
I have had and used a bunch of scopes over the last few years including nikon monarch and buckmaster, bushnell elite 3200 and 4200, leupy vx3's, and a sightron sIII. The Sightron sIII would be my pick for another at this moment for one reason. IT TRACKS!!!!
