Need help from the 7 mm STW boys

Hey guys, I'm an big STW fan too, used one on hogs and whitetail in Florida. I can tell you it surprised me but a 140 grain factory Corelokt did a great job on both! Don't remember having a second shot required from 50 yds on out to over 300.

I have been shooting my STW for about 10 years now. It seems I have had the best luck with 139 SST with H4350 and 162 SST with H4831SC.

I've had pretty good luck shooting whitetails with the 162gr A-Max bullets. Near or far the A-Max puts them down pretty quickly. High shoulder shots drop them like rocks and usually don't leave an exit wound. Classic double lung shots leave silver dollar size exit wounds. Deer rarely run far enough to get out of sight when hit broadsde with the A-Max.

High BC, very accurate, quite deadly and fairly inexpensive; what's not to like?
