I'd like to neck up some Lapua 6.5x.284 brass to straight .284 since they don't make a straight .284 case. I'm using Winchester right now but I thought I'd like to try some Lapua. I've never done this procedure before so I thought I'd check to make sure I don't miss anything. I've got an expander die with the .28 mandrel. Is it a simple as just running the brass through my expander die and that's it? Thanks.

I use Sinclair expander. Its is oversize so then I run it back thru my Redding bushing die with the expander mandrel out. That gives me the neck tension I want. Dan
