my savage 112 in a 300rum

I just purchased a savage model 112 in the 300rum and I'm wondering how it should perform against other makes, models, barrels, ect. I've had the trigger worked on and its now at 2 1/4 lbs. It has one of those breaks that twists open and closed. How do you feel about them?

Did you shoot it for groups? How did it do?

You may need the brake open & operating if you are recoil sensitive. Rember that POI will change with brake opened or closed. Savages can be very accurate, just like any rifle. Your trigger is still a little heavy for my tastes. Trigger control is very critical for long range shooting. Good luck.
