Hi Everyone , My name is ray toy and i live in Great Britain . Been reading this site for a while now and what a excellent site it is , been thoroughly enjoying it!!!! I have been reading everyone else's great writeup s , i thought it was about time i shared some of mine!!! I usually meet up on the weekends with some great buddies for some longrange target shooting / varmint hunting .. A few of us are using Parker Hale TX1200S / M82s and some other custom kit , well this weekend after our play we thought we would go do some varmint hunting , on arrival i spotted a crow at 406yds , my buddy said " 300 win mag and 208 A-max job " ?? , i just smiled and was getting ready for the shot when my other mate said " a Fox down by the boulders sunning himself!! " .. So i pinged the Fox with the Leica BRFs and it ranged 514yds , so i dialed in compensation for range ( less a quarter click for slightly downhill shot ) , and for wind , then sent the 208 A-max on its way!!! .. There was a solid " thump!! " report of hit , the Fox was stone dead , we tracked down to pick up the Fox and my shot went right where i aimed - behind the shoulder... Here i am................. I used my mates ( Jamie ) rifle , its a remington 700 action in a bell and carson stock , a Border 32 inch barrel specked for the 208 - 210 bullets , this rifle loves the 208 A-max!!! This outing really made my day!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for reading and all the best from England!!! RAY...........................
