Been using Varget in my 308 with the 175gr and 210M primers 45gr varget in Win or Black hills
match brass when I can get it....Yes there is pressure signs but still no problems have used it, in matches or just out shooting. No plans on changing.......

I shoot a 700 5r milspec. The twist is 1 in 11.25 or so with a 24 inch tube. SMK 175's shoot well! Berger 175 tactical otm shoot better for me and Have a higher BC. Dope change at 1k yards is 1 full mill less for the Berger. I also use the new Hornady 178 match BTHP and its .1 Mil more dope change from the Berger. They both shoot well in my 5r. Im not a hunter, just a long range steel guy. The Berger and the Hornady will go past 1300 yards If I do my part. Oehler 35p clocks the Berger at 2705 fps average of 10 and the Hornady 178 2730 fps.

5 shots in .26 inches at 100 yards

Bergers do the same with a coal of 2.815 but at .50$ a pill vs .28$ a pill ???
