Thought I would give a little plug for Benchmark Barrels since they did such a great job for me, and put up with all my questions. So here are a few pictures of my 7mm rem mag, built off the remington action. Barrel measures .926 at the muzzle, rifle weighs in at 14 lbs without the crappy bipod I put on for the picture. It shoots 1/4 moa with the sierra match kings, now I'm working up some hornady amax for it for hunting.

Benchmark 26'' heavy barrel
Vortex viper pst 4-16x50/ vortex scope level
timney calvin elite trigger
bell and carlson stock/ bedded

barrel looks like a truck axle...awesome!

Rather than the Amax, look at the Berger 180grain hybrid. They are marvelously accurate and real deer/elk/varmint killers. For the real long range stuff, the 195grain bergers are about to be released.
