My 300 RUM doesn't like 200 gr AB's, will it like 190 or 210 Bergers?

My 1 in 10" twist 300 RUM won't shoot the 200 gr AB under moa at 100 yds and it doesn't get better at longer range. It will shoot the 180 gr Sierra SBT under 0.4" at 100 yds but I would like to shoot a higher BC bullet. Just wondering if others who have not had good luck with the 200 gr AB have had good luck with the 190 and/or 210 gr VLD's?

My factory Rem700 XCR in 300rum shot the 210VLD into .75moa without much trying. The load was Fed215M primer and about 92 grains of H1000. Velocity was just over 3000fps in a 26" barrel. Had I kept the barrel (1:10 twist), I would have found a way to push velocity to 3150.

The barrel of that rifle is up for sale now in the classified section along with the muzzle brake I had installed.

My 300RUM Sendero wouldn't shoot the ABs very well either. Finally found some 208gr AMAXs. With a quick load development(was going hunting with my brother in Wyoming the following week) I got it to keep .5 moa out to 1K. 94grs Retumbo, 215M primer, remington Brass. COL 3.65(max mag length). I might tweek it in the future when I get time, but it will be good for now. The AMAX worked great on the 174", 300+lbs Muley I got. Droped him like a rock.
