I got this Bear while deer hunting at D7 Zone!! Opening day as you know opening day was WAR ZONE no Bucks just saw couple does then at night storm started with heavy rain plus I forgot to say that area had a lot of fresh bear signs but because its non lead area I did not take my pistol!! 2nd day there was not even one hunter in that area probably they left after storm. I was hiking up hill to my secret deer zone that notice movement under bushes(~30' away)... throw a rock then it got out of bushes but Sun hits my New Zeiss 5x25-50 conquest glass couldn't see it quickly moved to shade I made quick shot Broadway to the longs and bullet stopped at neck, went down at 70' turn over 1 min later finished movement.(1st shot with My Sako A7 .300 WSM with Federal Trophy Copper 165 gr. It was +450lb we were not able to move one feet so it took 3 hours to get it out with winch....story short see few pics.(Please PM me about Taxidermist around LA)
