Muzzle Break?

I have a browning A-Bolt in 300 wsm that kicks like a mule. the a bolt stalker only weighs a little over 6#s so i am sure this has a lot to do with it. I was wondering if a muzzle break would be a good idea or even possible. It has a 23 inch barrel. The gun shoots really well and i want to keep it lite for a carry rifle. I have very little experience with breaks so any help would be appreciated. Also if it is possible which would be recommended.

A good brake makes the worst kicking gun more pleasant to shoot , I personaly like the look and function of Nathen Dagley's V-port brake , it works great and looks cool and the price is right /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif check it out on is web page in my signature below.
