does anyone have loads for a 300 rum using norma mrp?

how would it work for 200-220-240 bullets with a 10 twist / 26 " barrel?
thanks in advance.

ALG, Here is a powder burn rate chart:

Here are some loads that shoot ragged holes at 300yds in my stock 300Rum Sendaro:

220gr Sierra - 91.2grs. of Retumbo @ 3000fps
210 Berger VLD - 91.5grs. of H-1000 @ 3020fps.
210 Berger VLD - 94grs. of Retumbo @ 3100fps.
(My favorite) Berger 185 VLD - 97grs. of H-1000 @ 3400fps.

All lite with Fed. 215

IF you have access to some MRP, suggest you look at the MRP2 which is equivalent to RL25. MRP2 works great in the 338 AI versions I know.

Black Hills is now the only distributor of Norma powders in the US and no direct sales to individuals, so your dealer will have to order.

MRP/MRP2 are extremely reliable lot to lot especially compared to the RL22/25 and not as temp sensitive.

Bringing an old thread back to life but I wonder if anyone else has any more info. I have a can of mrp that I have no info for. If I can't find retumbo, I'd like to have a use for it. Thanks

Found some data both in LRH, I hope it will help you. Originally by a member called bh5k in 2011. I left only data for Normas powder related to the 210gr VLD

Bullet Powder Start Load Approximate Start Velocity Max Load Approximate Max Velocity Fill Ratio

210 Grain NORMA MRP 2 80.0 2663 88.2 2961 95.6%

210 Grain NORMA MRP 75.0 2647 83.3 2894 86.8%

Here something relevant from Sweden:

Laddata also in English! :)
