Great old classic cartridge. Own an M-1 NM and a Clone 03A4. Both are sub MOA rifles with replicas of NM loads. Both scoped for this blind old man,

Just ordered my new Marlin X7VH in 308. If it's like my other two, a bit of tuning on the stock will produce flyswatter accuracy. With the 26" bbl it weighs a bit more but still comes in under 8 pounds. Feel naked with only one 308 .... a DPMS AR10 with the 16" door kicker barrel.

Boys here are getting into 300 yard 22 RF bench rest. Not a cheap sport but amazing results.
