Moral Dilemma...

There is no telling when it comes in. I know when it came in one time from talking to one of the employees who was just as ****ed about it as I am. It comes in at total random. The only way to beat the guy to it is to get real lucky or have somebody from walmart call you... Ya dig?

Seems you need to team up with this "other" employee who is just as ****ed about it as you are. Have him call you when the next shipment comes and get down there before the other A$$hats guys do and buy buy buy!!

That's what I would do :D

The ATF may have specific permits, license and storage requirements for retail business sellers of powder...explosives.

While I think taking action like making a complaint to the Walmart management is a good idea, unfortunately, you may not get the satisfaction of nailing this guy for being the vulture that he is. Even if there were repercussions, the instinct to wheel and deal at the expense of others is so strong for a a guy like this that even getting called out on it brings him an inner satisfaction. There was a time in years long past when a few missing teeth might curb this poor behavior, and surely bring a sense of satisfaction and justice, but it's not very practical these days. Lots of crap like this going on in the world today. Don't let it eat a hole in you. I think for every azzhole like this, there are many more good people.IMHO.

While I'm not a fan of Warren Buffet, this kids' character caught my attention.

It don't get no simpler than that!

I understand it's happy hour somewhere but it's still too early for me to uncork some fermented spirit ... will go for a quick hike with the wife and the dog instead. :D

Cheers!

Most retailers around here have imposed limits on powder sales. Your powder hog can only do what he does because of Wal-Mart policy. I suspect that many other specialist stores would recognize him and stop the practice. If you keep shopping at Wal-Mart because they have a lower price, this is the other price you start to pay.

People who work for Wal-Mart have litle incentive to run interference for you. Other stores may value their individual customers more. It's generally better to seek out specialist retailers than keep giving money to Wal-Mart.

Haven't bought anything gun related from Wal-Mart for years. The knowledgeable people who can help me work at the specialist retailers. The selection of gun related products are far better at the specialists. I give them my money.

If this guy gets you away from buying so much stuff at Wal-Mart, then he has given you a backhanded favor.

Plus another. Good article link.

Don't loose any sleep over it. Just not worth it. In life's big picture this is small stuff. Report it and let other folks know about it and let it play out.

Where I live, we haven't seen any useful powder on the shelves for over a year and a half so I do my shopping online. If you do some group buys you can get some pretty descent prices.

Was just there with the wife (who shops there), I have no prejudice for WalMart at all.

Bought a couple boxes of 45's, a couple boxes of 410's and a nice bino harness (in realtree) for $12.99.

Saw no podwer other than Pyrodex which I don't use.

They even had 22LR's.

Confront him again telling him what his son said. See what he says.

Make public notifications ( however you want) of his business name and what he is doing. Lsit the facts only. No name calling.

Make separate posts on craigslist explaining what he is doing and ask for a boycott.

It probably won't go anywhere with Walmart, but you can keep going up the chain of command with them telling them that their employees are demonstrating poor business practices.

By the way, what walmart up there sells powder?
We don't see it down here.
