I did not stop in camp, I was however, in the area chasing wolves. No secrets here. I worked for Honest Eddy for many years untill 2006. My dad hunted and had exclusive trapping rights to that ranch for its present and past owners, the Forbes family. When the fur market crashed in 88 my father stopped trapping for income. I grew up running around that ranch and it used to be probably four times that big! My favorite place to hunt on that whole ranch was the A-zone! Now a days I run my seasonal business and hunt **** near every day during the season! I take a lot of friends hunting and it really is more fun hunting when it is not a job. We do not kill those big big park bulls, which is the one part I truely do miss! Now back on topic congrats on the shot and kill! Those swirling winds of the A-zone can be tricky to dial for! There used to be a ex marine sniper that would come out with a 338 wm and his closest kill was 500ish one time he shot across the creek well over 1100 yards! Two shots! Everyone in camp even some hunters helped pack that elk out just to see it and truely believe it!
