The factory trigger on my Model 70 Coyote Light .25 WSSM SUCKS- it feels like it's set at 20 pounds, LOL! Rather than spend money trying to work on it, I figured I'd get a new trigger for it. I'm considering a Jewell but with the economy how it is, I'm also looking for a more affordable alternative. I'm wondering what y'all would recommend? I know Timmney makes a good AR trigger so I assume their replacement triggers for a Model 70 are also pretty good and they're 1/2 the price of a Jewell.

I also found some references to a company called "Rifle Basics" but I don't know anything about them. Are they any good and how do they compare to the Timmney and Jewell triggers- especially for a Winchester Model 70?

I'd sure appreciate any help y'all can give me!

Nick
