I have for sale a Model 70, push feed action in .223rem.

Rifle Specs:
- Winchester Model 70 Action - push feed
- McMillan A2 stock with adjustable cheek piece, 3 way butt plate, and forend rail (I don't know if it is Anschutz or Freeland).
- Barrel is a Krieger Heavy Palma finished at 27.5" long. Front end turned down for a front sight base
The twist is not stamped on the barrel, but I was told that it is 1:8. Round count unknown, but if the original seller is to be believed it has less than 500 total rounds on it.
- Trigger - 8oz Jewel.
- Scope Mount - EGW 20MOA
- CDI Precision bottom metal with two (2) ten round mags.

I bought this from the son of the gunsmith built the rifle. It was apparently used for F-TR before the gunsmith passed away. I bought the rifle as a .223 trainer sister gun to my .308 tactical setup and I really don't shoot it as much as I thought I would. We don't have tactical matches near me, so I've gotten more into NRA/CMP Highpower. So I'm making room in the safe for something else.

When I got the rifle I didn't do any load development. I had cleaned the rifle and was going to shoot some hand loads but I used some Norma 77gr Match ammo to season the barrel before checking my hand loads.....I stopped right there. 4 shots all touching at 100yds was good enough for me.

Asking $1350.00 OBO - shipped

I don't have a picture of the four round target, but it looks just like this 3 round target.Norma 77gr Match Target.JPG

Bump up, Price negotiable.

Would consider a Bighorn TL3 action for trade. Let me know what you've got.

Regards,
Ross
