mirage off winter snow

    Seems to me that sometimes mirage off snow on bright days can be worst than summer mirage.
    Anyone else notice this, or am I just slowly freezing to death when I am out there and start seeing things.

    Snow and other white objects reflect light and heat. On a sunny day this may happen. Its not your imagination. Use it to your advantage for detecting wind direction and speed for greater shooting ability.

    I saw the same thing a few days ago when it was -20, I thought i was going blind, it got so bad sometimes that i couldn't see my bullet holes at 100yards
