Minimum seating depth of projectile

Was doing some reloading for the upcoming coyote season and came across something that made me uncomfortable. Load is for a 6mm Creedmoor, going by nosler book for starting loads and came across this.. 70 grain nosler bt, coal 2.675 as tested by them. If I seat the projectiles to this length only .3 of the projectile even goes into the neck. Given .1 of that is the bt of the projectile that leaves .2 of actual seating of the projectile. Anyone else ever seat something that shallow? Appreciate the advice in advance!!

You have almost 100% of the bullet's diameter seated in the case neck. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Don't forget to check how far off/in the lands you are at that length!

"My" minimum seating depth for a hunting load is ~.020" off the lands if it fits in the magazine OAL. If not, find the best compromise between, CBTO and COAL.
