You talking about custom turrets? If you want the turret to match the reticule, then you want the Mil. due to the Mil dots being based on that type of measurement. However, the MOA is more common and can be used with the mil dots due to the measurement of each dot and the space between. I'm use to MOA personally, but guys that have converted to Mil. and learned it seem to like it just as much.
