hi guys I want to know if mill ranging is accurate enough for long range shooting or is it better to use a range finder.

I am currently using a range finder but it can only range to about 600 yards

The accuracy of Mildot ranging depends quite a bit on the size of the target being ranged and of course the experience and skill of the user. I used Mildots for several years for deer hunting. Considering the 18" measurement of a deers chest area, my effective ranging was 500-600 yards.
