The customer just stopped in to pick up his rifle tonight so thought it was safe to post some photos of his rifle now. I thought the stock colors looked great. Just a note, McMillan won't inlet for a Brux #6 contour. They'll inlet for a #5 which has the exact same 1.250" dia for 2.750" straight. They will also inlet for a Rem Varmint contour which has a larger dia. taper section. But for some reason they won't inlet for the #6 which is right in between. Either way I had them cut me a #5 contour and just opened it up.

Hopefully I'll get some feedback on how well it shoots down the road. Here's the specs. Hope you all enjoy!!

Remington 700 Short Action Fully Blueprinted
Holland Recoil Lug
Brux barrel #6 contour / 1-8.5 twist / finished at 25" with interrupted flutes
McMillan A-3 Sporter / 25% Black, 25% Olive, 25% Light Tan, 25% White
Pillar Bedded

Ya know, those interrupted flutes are starting to get to me. I wasn't real sure about the before but now i'm thinking :rolleyes:
