I've got an McMillan A3 edge fill stock that is painted black, and so far after a few backpacking hunts the paint has held up extremely well. The square forearm of the A3 is nice to shoot at the range, but a little blocky to carry around all day while hunting. So for my next build I've got a Game Scout on order. Edge fill painted olive with black and gray speckle. I placed the order back in february and just got an e-mail saying they are running right at 6 months from the date of order.
