Interesting stuff. I got to take a few shots with a Tubb 2000 a couple of weeks back. The particular barrel on the rifle at the time was a 6.5-284 barrel but the guy has a total of four barrels which he can switch out at will. My guess is that any gunsmith can set up a barrel for one of them. Likes: The trigger. That 2 stage anchuz (? sp)trigger is so superb that it will spoil you for anything else. The recoil buffer. I was able to spot my own bullet impacts at the 800 yard steel target while shooting the 140 grain bullets at 3000 fps. The felt recoil was about like a 22-250 varmint rifle. The adjustments. Everything can be adjusted to make it more comfortable to shoot from the length of pull to the angle of the grip to the height of the cheek piece. The weight. The rig is heavy enough to be solid but not too heavy. The bolt. working the 60 degree bolt was a one finger operation, about the slickest thing I have ever felt. Dislikes: Too long a wait to get one. Not enough barrel choices from the factory. Nothing to rest a rear bag on except the bottom of the grip.
