Marvel Mystery Oil ??????

Hi and thanks in advance.

I read a few threads about the use of Marvel Mystery Oil to clean and protect a Rifle Barrel. I also heard of mixing it with STP etc. Can anyone shed some light on this, how its used, mixed etc?

A friend of mine has been using Marvel Mystery Oil & GM Top Engine Cleaner for many years, in his Palma rifles. He swears by this combo and saves quite a bit of money at the same time.
I've also heard of guys who use Shooters Choice mixed with WD-40 instead of kroil. WD-40 can be purchased by the gallon at a very good price from Home Depot. You can also use it for everything else around the house
